Turn a weekly meal plan into reviewed social posts with Codex

An app builder had Codex pull a week of recipes from the app's database, write a shot list, and generate one styled food image per dinner using photos of their own kitchen as reference. After a quality pass that retried weak images, Codex wrote captions, rendered carousels and left drafts in Buffer for human review, and the resulting post became the account's best-performing TikTok. The flow was then saved as a reusable weekly skill.

Our own starter prompt. Fill in the brackets, then paste it into Codex or your agent of choice.

Starter prompt
Take this week's [recipes, products or posts] and write a shot list with one image idea each. Use the reference photos in [folder] for style so the images look like they come from my space, not stock. Check each image for accuracy and repeated compositions and retry weak ones up to three times before asking me. Then write Instagram and TikTok captions and save everything as drafts for my review.
